Driving
It was a long time coming, but I finally got behind the wheel and drove on the wrong side of the road. It’s hard to believe that as often as we’ve been to Australia, I’ve never driven. I’ve been chauffeured everywhere.

The first car I was given access to was my mother-in-laws Beemer. Ha! She and my father-in-law seemed so cool about giving me the keys until I heard Monica making a last minute call to her insurance company to add me to her policy. Smart girl. The reason I had the use of the luxury vehicle is everything else my in-laws own is a stick. I know how to drive a stick (thanks Mom), but for my first drive on the wrong side of the road I didn’t need the distraction of also having to shift with the wrong hand. With 4 kids, my family can’t fit in one car, so Monica drove the truck and and I drove her BMW 320 to the beach.
This was Lars’s first time on the sandy beach.
He really enjoyed himself.
Why isn’t anyone looking at me??
Pictures of me wearing a swimsuit are included only because my husband wants to see them. My apologies to anyone else that stalks my blog.
