Around our house in September
If all our friends and family would follow (and check in often) me on instagram, I’d stop blogging. Alas, I don’t think that will ever happen. Many of these pictures you’ve seen already if you follow me.
Chilling.
It’s not very often Lyla gets to play with her toys without interruption from her younger brother.
Masie is now writing novels.
Great temps for a pool party on Labor Day.
My sister-in-law made me a cover for the dining room bench cushion. I love it!
Lars is beginning to like his time alone with me while the girls are at preschool.

Miles had his first (and turned out to be his only) swim meet of the season.
Lots of cheerleaders and ice cream after.
He also started tennis and learned to tie his laces.
The girls are back in dance class. Love little Lyla with her bun.
The boys often help Luke load the trucks in the morning. Need a good pool man? www.downunderpoolcare.com
A few days of cooler temperatures meant we could go to the park again.
I can’t remember what we were celebrating…. But we did enjoy a fun dinner out.
The girls and I attended a princess tea party. I pulled out an old prom dress for the occasion.
Out of boredom, Lars destroys the house whenever his brother and sisters are at school.
I thought it was time to throw out the binks and they all wanted a taste first.
Miles sneakily reading the girlie books.
Masie is growing too fast.
The bank wouldn’t deposit this forged $5 bill.
Luke spent a week in Australia without us for a family reunion. Keeping the kids entertained without him was not easy.
Thank goodness he brought gifts when he returned.
His reading habits make me so happy.
Ready for Sunday school.
Just because he’s cute and makes the kids smile.
Does my lipstick look ok?
I once had a teal iPhone.
