LUAU
We celebrated Masie, Lyla and Lars’s birthdays with one big Hawaiian pool party.
The kids dressed in their grass skirts, Hawaiian shorts, and leis to hand out their message-in-a-bottle invitations.
I had some amazing help from my sweet friend Kerry and her daughter Ava. I couldn’t have been party ready without them!
Lars helped clean out the ice chest and Ava shaped all the bread into starfish for PB&J sandwiches.
Then is was party time!
Gorgeous and delicious cake made by Whipple Scrumptious Cakes. The surfboards say “MASIE,” “LYLA,” and “LARS”
An hour after the start of the party and I remembered we didn’t yet have a family photo! I usually try to get one before everyone is wet and tired. Fail! Cute outfits though.
Girls showing off their tats.
Here’s Kerry helping herself to our yummy food.
A little décor. It’s hard when it’s so hot to put anything outside.
The kids table. Frozen gogurts make the best summer snack.
Grandma Judy and Joe talking swimming skills with each other. So glad they made it for Lyla’s big party.
My mom (aka Grandma) talking with Grandma Judy who is Lyla’s biological grandma.
Little Lars couldn’t make it to cake time. I put him down for a nap before we sang happy birthday. He doesn’t even know the difference. Thanks to all our friends and family for making this day so special for Masie, Lyla, and Lars.
A few little Aunts.
And a big bug.
