Monkeying around

We’re a bunch of animals in this house.

So I hurt my back a week ago Friday. Not a great thing to happen as a mother or an active person. Moving slow does not fit with my schedule. The only comfortable position for me was lying on my back with my feet propped up on the wall. The kids were happy to join me there for story time. I’m much better now so you won’t catch me lying around!

Masie’s preschool took a field trip to the zoo. I tried taking photos of animals from the point of view of the kids.

The giraffe is “huge!”

This lady lion was MAD! She was roaring away giving a great show as she stalked her habitat. Even my Masie jumped away in fright.

It’s really hard to see, but the mama gorilla was not letting her baby go. I feel the same way.
