More January Fun

My goal for the year (besides to not eat sweets or drink pop, sleep more, and stress less) is to stay current! I want to live in THIS moment. For me that means staying more in touch with friends and family, keeping my photos updated, and not getting behind on our business. Did you know we run a business out of our home? Lyla is always stealing my boots. I found them in the backyard early one morning.

My Aussie husband decided to (and followed through with) get his U.S.A. citizenship.

Masie moved out of nursery and Lars moved right in… and stays in if I’m with him.

Fun games happen in the greenbelts.

We still haven’t started Lars in swim lessons. He just eats a whole load of snacks while he watches the other fish with me.

While I was (pretending to be) asleep (so Miles could take a photo of me), Miles played matching games (so he can take a photo of it).

Lars tagged along with my friend Kerry and me when we hit up the Rock ‘n Roll expo before race day.

After the half marathon (Amy did the full!) and the sweat dried, we took another photo. It was a pretty good race for me. I didn’t run as many miles as I should have in training, but I was still able to keep up my pace for the entire 13 miles.

Lyla and Lars are becoming quite the trouble-making team. No wallet, electronic, or turtle food is safe.

We had another visitor who arrived loaded down with several gifts.

Luke’s mum or Nanna stayed with us for a week and a half. She took the kids to the park almost every morning so I could get caught up on a whole load of work. My resolution – don’t ever get behind like that again! I just barely got everything entered in time to make our appointment with our accountant to file our taxes. Hallelujah!

Someone got sick in the grass after being hit in the chest really hard with a tennis ball. We covered up the sick with sand and grass.

Someone got into the lotion and then 2 kids had super greasy, extra moisturized faces.

Someone gets bored during the girls’ dance classes and makes the most of it.

I’m ready for the month of LOVE!
