Definitely Size 4
My little man turned 4. The day before his birthday I couldn’t stop myself from thinking this is his last nap as a 3 year old, this is his last dinner, this is his last bedtime story…. I had a hard time saying goodnight knowing that when I saw him Sunday morning he would be 4. I know, I’m so very dramatic, but 4 seems so much older than 2 or 3. I’m glad he’s gaining more independence and I’m happy for him to be experiencing life and growing up. But boy, this is hard.
He woke this morning to a room full of balloons and rushed into our room so excited.
He told me, “See! I’m bigger now!” As he stretched his arm out wide.
I agreed, “You’re definitely size 4 now, Miles.”

Australia Part 4 (this is all, promise)
We had one sunny, bright, gorgeous beautiful day!
The day before we flew home was just what we needed.
We spent the morning at Tallebudgera beach and the rest of the day we spent lazing around Luke’s brother Daniel’s house, pool and beach. Miles and Masie were so stoked to be swimming. They both loved jumping into the pool and running in and out of the ocean.
Daniel’s pool, Lyla, and Mia enjoying her lunch :)
Sorry James, Will, and Court… these are about the only pictures I got of you :( But thanks for reading my blog, Bob!
Man, it was a great trip. We are so glad we went. We love our Australian family. They always show us a good time. We think of them often.
Love you guys!

Australia Part 3
It makes me sad that our kids don’t see their Aussie cousins very often. Miles is such good friends with Taylor, and Leif, and Fyn. Masie is learning to be nice, and she had loads of fun playing with all of Mia’s girl toys. Lyla was content to stay at my side. As long as I was in sight, Lyla was happy. Lyla has 3 cousins born within a year of her, so she’ll soon be running around with them.
I love this face :)
Miles earned many skinned knees on this skateboard

Masie wore herself out by lunch time most days
