Our Christmas, A Pre-Christmas
Since we were leaving for Australia on December 23rd, we would completely miss Christmas eve and arrive on Christmas day. I notified Santa Claus of our predicament, and he gladly offered to make an extra early stop to our house on the 22nd. The kids were extra nice this year.
We spent the evening before Santa’s arrival at my mom’s house with my brothers and some cousins and watched Miracle on 34th Street. Mom found the old stockings she made for us as kids. (2 of the stockings weren’t hung yet.)
Then we went home to prepare for St Nick. Cookies and carrots for Santa and his reindeer.
The kids getting one last chance to be nice before Santa comes.
In the morning… First reactions are the best.
We spent the rest of the day enjoying having much of my family in town.
Can you spot 6 uncles? Grandma is around here too. Somewhere. She likes to hide.
Xiaojun let me borrow here hot pink lipstick. Looks hot on her cute pout, but I don’t think I could ever pull it off.
And then the packing begins. Which colors do we bring? Merry Christmas!
